Simcad® Lite, dynamic simulator, operates under an entirely different paradigm than traditional static tools. The graphical interface used to build models does not generate or compile code as it interfaces directly with the multi-core simulation engine. When the simulation starts, the animation is instantly displayed in 2D and 3D.
Real-Time optimization is achieved by modifying the model constraints while the simulation is running. As inefficiencies develop, On-The-Fly modifications to the model can be applied in order to better understand the cause and effect of each change. These “on-the-fly” changes allow users to instantly realize potential gains and perform dynamic optimization.
With every model built, Simcad Lite generates a dynamic Value Stream Map that is used to display Value Added Time, Non-Value Added Time, inefficiencies and other value stream metrics. Changes to the model constraints are dynamically transferred to the value stream map.
Models in Simcad Lite are limited to 50 stations, 10 object types, and one level of assembly.
